Position: Class 2 Driver
Location: Allington (Maidstone), post code ME16 0LE
Shift Pattern: Any 5 from 7 days
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Due to an exciting new Business, we have a number of fantastic opportunities for Class 2 Drivers in Allington. As a Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for the efficient transportation and delivery of multi temperature goods to a number of local stores in London.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Timely and efficient completion of Multi-Drop deliveries, this is cage work.
To represent the client in a professional manner to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times
To undergo regular training and driving assessments
Regular completion of vehicle checks
Loading and unloading products and stock from vehicle.
Comply with appropriate Working Time and Tachograph Legislation
Work safely within the H&S and environmental guidelines, and insist that others do the same.
Maintain regular contact with the Transport Team.
Start time: 5 am-8 am
Requirements:
It is essential that you have a driving C or C+E Licence, Digital Tachograph card and up to date CPC card.
In addition to these requirements you’ll also have:
At least 1 years Driving experience
Experience of multi-drop multi-temperature food is desirable
Ability to demonstrate initiative, anticipate issues and escalate to Manager accordingly.
Excellent communication skills
Good time management skills
Health and safety awareness
Knowledge of driving laws and working time regulations
Salary: £13.50 /hour
